EACH year, Joe and Charmaine Petrosino from Eureka Villages raise funds from pool table takings to make a difference in their community.

$1,025 has been donated to the GV Health Foundation. Residents at Eureka Villages decided that this year the money would be donated to help fund cancer services at GV Health.

Joe Petrosino said, “We wanted to donate the money to support cancer patients and their families who struggle to afford treatment.”

Receiving the cheque at Eureka Villages last week, GV Health Foundation director, Carla Dixon said, “On behalf of the GV Health Foundation, I would like to thank everyone who has donated. This money will make a huge difference to the lives of those in need, helping them to pay bills and to look after their health.”

This is the fourth year the Petrosino’s have donated their pool table takings. They look forward to being able to raise even more money in coming years.
