RUBICON Water combines irrigation and innovation with their automated canal technology which is benefitting 17 countries and covers six of the world’s seven continents. These include Chile (servicing South America), China, India, Italy, Spain (servicing Europe and the Middle East) and the United States.

Following the AACCI visit in March, Rubicon is increasingly hopeful to expand on opportunities throughout broader areas of Africa and the Middle East, with several exciting projects already in the pipeline.

Rubicon’s general manager of commercial operations, Les Ganci was very grateful for the opportunity organised by the AACCI to showcase how Rubicon’s innovative solutions, are saving substantial volumes of surface water within water scarce countries.

“We were delighted to present our technology to ambassadors, delegates, and representatives of countries within the Arab League, and highlight how these benefits can be achieved throughout the irrigated areas of the MENA region. Rubicon is passionate about supporting the future sustainability of the agriculture industry, not only in Australia but world-wide,” said Les.

Rubicon supports the majority of their international projects from their primary manufacturing facility here in Shepparton, which delivers gates, specialised flow measurement and control technology.
