GOTAFE is proud to reinforce its commitment to Benalla and provide more accessible education for the whole community, and therefore has made the decision to relocate to a new campus in the heart of town.
The $1.6M investment will deliver a new campus redefining vocational education delivery in Benalla, featuring contemporary learning spaces, modern technology, collaborative workspaces, engaging open-flow classrooms and improved accessibility.
Travis Heeney, CEO GOTAFE said “The new CBD campus location will provide easy access to public transport, parking, food, shopping and services for our staff and students. The new campus will provide a much richer student experience and better learning outcomes.”
GOTAFE is proud to be working with the Benalla Rural City Council and other local service providers to ensure that the campus will be an inclusive and supportive collaboration hub for all the community
GOTAFE is working with the Australian Christian College to optimise the use of the Samaria Road campus and provide further education resources to Benalla.
David Fyfe, Group CEO Christian Education Ministries said “Once we receive regulatory approval, we’re excited by the opportunity to relocate our school into the Samaria Road campus. Recent growth in student numbers means we are quickly outgrowing our current site, and the GOTAFE site has become available at the ideal time for our school community”.
