THE ANNUAL complimentary car parking period, which began in December, will finish up at the end of the month.

Greater Shepparton City Council provide the complimentary parking period over summer to support local businesses in the CBD over the Christmas and New Year period.

From Wednesday, February 1, paid on-street parking applies to Council-owned on-street parking spaces, and those who have not paid for parking risk being fined.

Until this time, parking in Council parking spaces is free but time limits do still apply. Infringements are being issued to those who overstay the time displayed on signage in the area.
