Welcoming Emily Argus to the all-female staff in February, the new pharmacist has effortlessly joined the team which highly values getting to know each of their customers in order to maximise the best health outcomes.
Returning to work after the birth of her nine-month-old son Harrison, Emily is an experienced professional who actively sought to work at Reid’s because of its unmistakable focus on customer care as well as its friendly and supportive work environment.
“When I was returning to work, I knew what sort of environment I wanted to work in. I’ve known about Reid’s for a long time, and I thought that’s the kind of supportive and professional workplace I want to be a part of. So, I literally walked in one day and asked if there were any jobs available.

“I knew the values here would resonate with me and I thought, if I’m going to be away from my baby during the day, I want to make sure that I’m in a place where I’m excited to be at work, enjoying it and making a contribution,” Emily said.
Currently working two days a week, Emily is also studying her pharmacy accreditation, which will enable her to parallel pharmacists Leticia and Kate in delivering home medication reviews, just one of the many ways the staff pushes forward for optimal patient care.
In pinpointing the staff’s overriding approach to customer service, Emily said, “If you ran into a friend down the street, you’d have the same sort of conversations with staff here, it’s natural, and it feels comfortable.”
