Camping is free in every national park and state forest in Victoria, with the Minister for Environment Steve Dimopoulos announcing the start of the free camping season on December 1. Free camping will run until June 30, 2025 – with almost 100,000 nights of free camping already booked. To book a free camping site visit, parks.vic.gov.au.
