Sadly, a sign of the times…a Shepparton restaurant was on the receiving end of their tips jar being stolen last week.
Two women entered the restaurant on Wyndham Street asking for a glass of water, while the restaurateur was doing the right thing and getting the water, one of the accomplices within seconds stole the tips jar from the counter.
There was a physical commotion, and the thieves got away. The police arrived soon after, however the restaurant proprietor hadn’t heard anything since.
