You may know him as the guy who popularised riding boots, but many don’t know that R.M. Williams was also an avid Jaguar car fan.

This gorgeous 1948 Jaguar MK IV Drophead Coupe was originally owned by the renowned Australian boot maker, and inside includes a personalised R.M. Williams badge on the inner console.

According to legend, the first two owners of the car had been so fastidious in ensuring upkeep that this gorgeous vehicle had never been driven in the rain during the first 47 years of its existence – an impressive feat, given the immaculate condition the restored vehicle is in today.

The interior is the true marvel, with the wood panelling and red carpet and leather seats an absolutely eye-catching feature and great contrast agains the black exterior paint.
