Young people in Shepparton are being encouraged to get involved in a new youth development opportunity with the launch of the Shepparton Sabres Cadet Unit.
Run by the Australian Cadet Corps, the program focuses on building confidence, leadership skills and community connection through structured activities and mentoring.

Open to young people from the age of eight, the Cadet Corps aims to support personal growth while promoting integrity, discipline and respect. Organisers say the new unit will provide a positive, inclusive environment where young people can develop life skills, make new friends and explore future pathways in education, employment and leadership.
