The Victorian Sport Awards, honoring the Victorian sport and active recreation industry for achievements made during the 2025 calendar year, were held on Wednesday, May 13.
Greater Shepparton City Council won the Bunnings Trade Local Government Initiative of the Year, for the Shepparton BMX Multi-Use Events Facility. The award was in recognition of the major redevelopment project, which boosts participation, safety and regional economic impact, and allows the venue to host national championships.
