Music enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra presents its Chamber Music Concert Series at Eastbank on Sunday, June 7 and Sunday, June 21 at 2pm.
The June 7 concert will feature woodwind works, a Beethoven piano quartet and popular jazz pieces, along with a special farewell to a long-serving orchestra member. On June 21, audiences can expect a fresh string program alongside a saxophone quartet, wind quintet and brass ensemble.
The series offers an ideal outing for music lovers over the King’s Birthday long weekend, with another engaging program a fortnight later. It also sets the stage for the GVCO’s 30th anniversary celebration at its annual concert on Saturday, October 17 at 7.30pm. Gold coin donations are appreciated.
