To celebrate GV Health’s 150th anniversary, the community is invited to take part in tours to see how facilities have grown and to step back in time with tours at the Historical Society of Mooroopna.
Guided tours at Shepparton Hospital on Graham Street are Saturday, June 13, from 10am or Sunday, June 14, starting at 11am. At the end of the tour, visitors are welcome to mingle in the staff dining room with free tea and coffee. To reserve your place, go to: www.trybooking.com/DLYTC
Over the same weekend, the Historical Society of Mooroopna, which preserves and showcases a collection of historical items and displays related to the hospital and surrounding district, will open specially on Saturday, June 13 from 11am to 2pm, and Sunday, June 14, 11am to 1pm.
While there will be no guided tours, staff will be on hand to answer any questions. No bookings required. Address is 30 Park Street, Mooroopna.
The tours of Shepparton Hospital and the Historical Society of Mooroopna are free of charge.
