More than 3,000 visitors have experienced Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso at Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) since its opening in late May. The internationally acclaimed exhibition, featuring works by Picasso, Matisse, Dalí, Cézanne and Braque, is the only Australian showing and runs until September 20.
To complement the exhibition, SAM is offering a vibrant winter program including its family-friendly SAM Winter Camp, hands-on art workshops, life drawing sessions and the popular Bar SAM Soirée jazz evenings scheduled in July and August.
