SCHOOL holidays saw local kids channelling their inner artist at ‘Paint Like Picasso’ workshops held at Shepparton Marketplace.

Paint-stained hands were difficult to avoid with many enjoying the fun alongside new friends.

The children’s abstract paintings, inspired by SAM’s iconic Degas to Picasso exhibition, are now placed on the community art wall for all visitors to enjoy.

Beyond school holiday fun, Shepparton Marketplace remains one of the region’s most convenient shopping destinations, with a wide range of retailers offering everything from groceries and fashion to cafés, beauty services and everyday essentials.

Many of the centre’s stores are participating in this year’s GMCU $25,000 Giveaway, meaning shoppers can tick off their weekly errands while also going in the draw to win. Every eligible purchase of $10 or more provides another chance to enter, with the $5,000 major prize to be drawn on July 27.

Shepparton Marketplace is located at 110-120 Benalla Road, Shepparton with ample free parking on-site.
