WITH a record 58 prizes awarded during the GMCU $25,000 Giveaway, the region’s largest shoppers contest has now wrapped up with the $5,000 grand prize awarded to Shepparton’s Kelsey O’Riley who shopped at Fairleys IGA.
“What, oh my god you are kidding. This doesn’t feel real. I don’t have any words. Wow,” said Kelsey when she got the call from The Adviser notifying her of her win.
“I didn’t think I would win. I never win these things. This is going to help more than you can ever imagine.
“I will be using it on groceries and everyday items. When the shock wears off, I’ll have another think about what I can buy too.”
Cafe Three620, who has been a great supporter of the Giveaway for four years, has won the Business Grand Prize.
During the competition, local shoppers that spent $10 or more at any of the 140+ participating businesses had a chance to enter to win weekly $250 prizes, with every eligible entry giving them a shot at winning the grand prize of $5,000 in Visa debit cards, courtesy of GMCU.
