Local dealership Darryl Twitt Ford participated in the ‘World’s Largest Dealer Food Drive’ during September, delivering a ute-load of food to Shepparton Foodshare on Monday. Ford’s annual Global Caring Month is rolled out on a global scale with the campaign giving dealerships an option to support their local community.
Shepparton Foodshare was thrilled to receive the Ford Ranger loaded with donated, non-perishable foods, which will create 210 meals.
All food donated and rescued by Shepparton Foodshare is distributed for free to registered emergency relief agencies, schools, meal programs, faith organisations and neighbourhood houses, supporting a wide range of people from families to those experiencing homelessness.
