TO assist with Shepparton’s recovery from the impact of the pandemic and provide residents with another reason to shop local, Council are providing complimentary timed parking until 28 February 2022.
Time limits still apply for parking spaces and infringements are being issued to drivers who overstay the time displayed on nearby signage.
Decreased foot traffic, reduced capacity inside businesses and dwindling revenue have impacted the retail and hospitality sectors the hardest. Free timed parking in Council-owned spaces is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with the businesses that service our community.
From March 1, 2022 drivers will need to display a parking ticket to park in paid on-street parking spaces.
