JOINING an illustrious group of zealous netballers at the Tallygaroopna Football and Netball Club (TFNC), Fiona Down achieved her 250th A Grade game against Rushworth on Saturday, August 5.

With only four other netballers within the club to previously reach this remarkable milestone, Fiona’s commitment to both the game and the sport has seen her attain many accomplishments since her commencement in 2001.

Accumulating a total of 373 games to date (250 A Grades games plus 123 B Grade Games), Fiona is also the current A Grade coach.

Her dedication and skill as a coach facilitated the A Grade Premiership win last year, while her coaching expertise has also smoothed the way for a multitude of B and C Grade premiership wins over the years.

The 5th Highest Game Record holder within the TFNC, Fiona has also been the recipient of the club’s Best and Fairest Award on multiple occasions.

Fiona joins an elite group of stalwart players including past player Kelli Halden (396 games) and current players Bec Brett (339 games) and Bree Giles (297 games).
