The King’s Birthday weekend will again see the Tatura Victory Hall transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and community spirit as the Tatura Rotary Community Art Show returns, June 5-8.
Now established as a leading regional cultural event, the exhibition features around 400 artworks, with about 20 per cent expected to be sold, continuing its tradition of connecting artists and collectors.

Festivities begin Friday, June 5, with a gala opening night officially launched by former ABC presenter Matt Dowling.
Adding to the atmosphere will be the much-loved jazz trio The 3 of Us. Featuring Rachel Howard’s smooth vocals, Wade Gregory on keyboard and Brian Matthews on saxophone, the trio will provide a lively soundtrack as guests enjoy the exhibition’s first viewing.
Among the familiar and highly regarded names on display will be Glenda Cornell, Phil Mactier and former Best in Show winner Col Brown. Art lovers also have the opportunity to win an original work by reigning Best in Show artist Marianne Scarvelis by entering the raffle.
Students from Tatura Primary School will also exhibit works, exploring the theme of things produced in Tatura.
The exhibition runs across the weekend, concluding at 2pm on Monday, with the raffle drawn at 1pm. Coffee, food and refreshments are available throughout the weekend.
Opening night tickets are $25 at the door and include food and live entertainment. General admission across the weekend is just $5, with children admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
Whether you’re a collector, art enthusiast or simply after a great long weekend outing, the Tatura Rotary Community Art Show offers an inspiring experience for all ages.
