I’ve heard it said that this is the time of the great resignation. From CEOs of top international companies, all the way down to the local sporting club treasurer and many in between.

Are you losing motivation? Fearful of crowds? Thinking that there’s more to life than just work? Perhaps, what’s the point of making lots of money if we have poverty in our relationships?

I’d imagine there are many reasons why people are quitting their roles. My hope is that this dynamic will see paradigm shifts in us moving more from self to community.

Jesus taught two commandments as most important, and it’s fascinating to note that both are to do with our relationships – love God (with everything we have) and love others. Let’s invest capital in making sure we are growing these relationships first and everything else, even career and money, could take a back seat to this.
