BOARD members for the Greater Shepparton Foundation, Carmel Johnson and Nick Bamford have stepped aside to welcome Gracia Musafiri as a new board member at the group’s annual general meeting.
GSF chair, Rhys Holleran said, “we are thrilled to have Gracia join us on the board, she has experience in working with our diverse community having volunteered and been employed at local community organisation, Africa House. Gracia also brings valuable marketing skills to our board and is currently employed by Southern Cross Austereo as a Digital Marketing Specialist.”
“Our skills-based board is elected to represent the community we serve. We are grateful for the wealth of knowledge and experience that Carmel and Nick have brought to our board during the transition period to our new foundation, and more recently helped navigate our approach to the challenges of the COVID pandemic faced by our community.”
“We thank Carmel and Nick for their dedication to Greater Shepparton Foundation and wish them all the best as they shift their focus to new roles within our community.”
Rhys Holleran returns for a further term as chair, along with Mark De Paola as deputy chair, and directors, Kara Shields, Anna Turnbull, Julia Thomas, and Olivia Barlow.
