RODNEY Park Village residents and staff have opened their hearts and given a little back this Christmas by doing a collection box for Shepparton Foodshare.
Rodney Park in Mooroopna is part of Shepparton Villages. The generosity of the residents and staff comes from an understanding that giving back to others, even when you don’t have an abundance, can make as big an impact on the giver as those receiving the generosity.
“Donating to Foodshare demonstrates the kindness of the people who work here to be able to donate, and the fellow residents who can also donate to Foodshare, this makes people feel good about themselves when they donate and share things. Also, it helps those who are less fortunate and those who need a hand,” said Rodney Park resident, Peter Nixon.
