MUSIC lovers will have one more opportunity to experience the Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra’s Chamber Music Concert Series when the final performance takes place at Eastbank on Sunday, June 21 at 2pm.
These concerts particularly focus on music that is written for smaller and varied, sometimes unusual, combinations of instruments, and are a fine contrast to the repertoire of the full orchestra.

Players from the GVCO have a broad knowledge of repertoire and choose works for entertainment and musicality. Some pieces may even be composed by members of the GVCO. Such ensembles allow for musicianship and the talents of individual players and their enjoyment in performing repertoire that makes varied demands on the performer.
Alongside this varied range of repertoire, these concerts will always present performances by the String Ensemble, Brass Quintet and jazz. Please come along and be prepared to be surprised by the enormous talent in your local community-based orchestra.
Entry is by gold coin donation.
