GRADE 5 students across Greater Shepparton’s 26 public primary schools turned out for Aspirations Day at Greater Shepparton Secondary College December last year.

The students had a hands-on career experiences tour involving local industry, higher education, community and emergency services. Everything from animal care to agriculture, nursing and teaching to heavy transport and more.

Jenni Gibson, Project Manager, Shepparton Education Plan, was full of praise for the event in its fourth year.

“Aspirations Day is a celebration of possibility – giving every child the chance to imagine what their future could look like, no matter their background or interests,” said Ms Gibson.
