THANKS to a radio cash prize, Shepparton Athletics Club will offer group multi-class athletics clinics to local people living with disabilities. Sessions will run Thursday from 1.30-2.30pm until March 24, at the athletics track free of charge. Free clinics are held during the day to cooperate with local disability agencies’ day service programs. These sessions will introduce participants to athletics and teach them fundamental skills. All athletes with a disability are welcome to attend. The Shepparton Athletics Club hope to encourage more multi class athletes to join their club. The Shepparton Athletics Club competed at the Victorian Country Championships in Bendigo recently. The club would like to thank all volunteers and officials who helped on the day and continue to support athletics.
