GREATER Shepparton City Council is bringing the Winter City Market back to the Shepparton CBD for two days of shopping, entertainment and family fun on Friday, August 28, and Saturday, August 29.
The Maude Street precinct will feature live music, market stalls, kids’ activities, food and winter sales from local businesses.
The market will run from 10am to 6pm on Friday and from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, giving residents and visitors plenty of time to bag a big bargain and explore the CBD and support local retailers, cafés and stallholders.

Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali said the market offers an enjoyable way to support the businesses.
“Every purchase made locally helps support the people and businesses that contribute so much to Greater Shepparton,” said Cr Sali.
“The Winter City Market gives residents and visitors another reason to spend time in the CBD, discover local businesses and enjoy everything happening throughout the precinct.”
Council’s Place Manager, Bonnie McIntosh said the event is designed to attract people into the CBD and encourage them to explore beyond their usual shopping destinations.
“The Winter City Market creates a lively atmosphere throughout the CBD while connecting shoppers with local retailers, cafés and market stallholders,” said Ms McIntosh.
“It is a great chance to find a bargain, discover something new and enjoy free entertainment while moving through the precinct.”
