GREAT Mother’s Day gifts are made easy with the Goulburn Valley Extended Care Hospital Auxiliary hosting an open garden and plant day in lieu of their annual Mother’s Day theatre performance.
Comprising of mostly succulents, but with other varieties on offer, these plants make delightful gifts for a special person in your life, or even a great treat for yourself!
Entry to the sale day is $5 and for a further $5, you can enjoy a lovely cuppa and fresh, home-made biscuit with all proceeds from the sale day going towards Mary Coram Unit to provide much-needed equipment, and Grutzner House, a local psychogeriatric residential unit.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds for organisations in our region. We are excited to welcome the community to the sale and hope people find the perfect Mother’s Day gifts while they are here,” said Goulburn Valley Hospital Auxiliary president, Lisa Ladas.
“We hope to see as great a turnout as our annual performance usually brings and for the day to be a great success.”
The open day plant sale will take place at 34 Canterbury Avenue on Saturday, April 30th from 10am until 4pm. Prices vary for each plant.
