A NEW section of the shared pedestrian and cycling path between Sanctuary Drive and River Road West, Kialla has been completed and is now open to the public.
The existing shared park network winds its way from the north of Shepparton, at Water’s Reserve, south along the Goulburn River to the centre of town, west to Mooroopna, and south to Kialla Lakes.
The 650m long extension of the shared path network connects Kialla Lakes and Seven Creeks Estate to Emerald Bank and Riviera Park Estate.
The upgrade includes a 20m boardwalk and a 13m bridge across Waterbird Creek.
“We have already received such positive feedback from the community about this upgrade,” said Gary Randhawa, Council’s director infrastructure.
