Shepparton Art Museum’s Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso exhibition will close Sunday, September 20, leaving a very limited opportunity to experience some of the world’s greatest paintings and sculptures in Shepparton before they head home to the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki.

Don’t miss this opportunity to see artworks by recognisable artists like Salvador Dalí, Edgar Degas, Georges Braque, Hans Hofmann, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne, and many more before they leave Shepparton.

Visitors can also explore the 2026 Archibald Prize, now on display at SAM.

Get your tickets at the SAM website or at the gallery. SAM is open seven days a week, from 10am-4pm, with extended opening hours to 7pm on Friday and Saturday, September 11, 12, 18 and 19.
