FOR Chris and Sharri Longmore at G.J. Gardner Homes Shepparton, community is not just about being together; it’s about doing life together. As proud locals and passionate supporters of country sport, they know just how vital football and netball clubs are to the thriving hubs of regional towns, bringing families together, inspiring young people and forging lifelong connections that last long after the final whistle.

Proudly launching a new initiative in celebration of giving back to the communities that support local business, the team at G.J. Gardner Homes Shepparton not only supports clubs including Shepparton United FNC, Tallygaroopna FNC, Waaia FNC and Moama FNC, but has also introduced “Build Your Dream Home, Build Your Club’s Future!”

Understanding that regional sporting clubs are essential in providing support networks, while celebrating local identity, G.J. Gardner Homes Shepparton will give $5,000 back to the sporting club of any member or player who chooses to build with them.

“It’s our way of giving back to the communities that support local business,” Chris said. “These clubs rely heavily on volunteers, sponsorship and community support, so if we can contribute in a meaningful way while helping families build their dream home, it’s a win for everyone.”

We created this to provide genuine, long-term support for local sporting organisations – after seeing the success of similar programs through other G.J. Gardner offices across Victoria – Sharri said,

“We’re passionate about building more than homes, we’re passionate about building stronger communities. Country sporting clubs are the heart of regional towns, and we wanted to create something that not only supports clubs financially but also gives local families an exciting opportunity when they decide to build.”
