Business skills and networking opportunities for regional artists

A TWO-day professional development day for regional artists will be held at The Shepparton Art Museum (SAM) on Saturday –Sunday, May 17-18. The event will feature panel discussions and workshops to address key areas of concern for artists including accounting, copyright, communication, installing artwork and applying for grants.

Presenters include artist Beci Orpin, Evan Lowenstein (Lowenstein Arts Management), and Amelia Kingston (Regional Arts Victoria).

Ahead of the Art as Business program, a free networking event will be held on Friday, May 16 at La Trobe University’s Shepparton Campus, open to all. The event will include a panel discussion featuring leaders from the regional arts sector.
