The Butler Society is inviting people interested in Butler family history and genealogy to join an Australian/NZ gathering in Sydney from Friday, October 17 to Monday, October 20. There will be talks about Butlers who contributed to the history of Australia and NZ, and also a very interesting presentation on the life of the 1st Chief Butler of Ireland, who was closely connected to the court of England in the 1100s, and is one of the sources of the Butler surname.
