THIS Sunday Shepparton’s Queens Gardens will light up with tinsel, Christmas lights, carols, and cheer for Carols by Candlelight.
Last year’s event was moved online, but in 2021, the beloved event returns at 6.30pm.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Cr Kim O’Keeffe said this year’s event promised an exciting program of performers.
“For newcomers to the event, the audience will be amazed to experience this year’s carols and talented local performers, keeping everyone entertained all night,” Cr O’Keeffe said.
“This is the perfect opportunity to relax with your family and friends and enjoy everything that represents Christmas and to welcome in the New Year. If you are unable to join us on the evening then don’t fear on missing out, Carols will also be available to watch online through Council’s website and social media.”
The star-studded community cast will feature some of Greater Shepparton’s finest, singing your holiday favourites. A Christmas feast will be put on by the Kiwanis Club Shepparton and local business. Enjoy special pyrotechnics and glow sticks to light up the night and for your comfort, don’t forget chairs, cushions, and rugs for a comfortable evening.
This is a COVID-safe event and attendees must check in and show proof of vaccination upon entry. To view the live stream please visit Council’s Facebook or website.
