THE R U OK? Conversation Convoy stopped in Shepparton last Wednesday, October 14, bringing its message of connection and awareness around suicide prevention, to the Goulburn Valley community as part of the 120-day-long national tour.

Community members were invited to a free barbecue lunch on the corner of Maude and Vaughan streets, where local service providers and R U OK? ambassadors shared practical advice on supporting friends, family and colleagues.

As part of the tour, the convoy is travelling to many regional communities across Australia, encouraging people to start meaningful conversations and recognise when someone may need help.
