THE ‘country of origin’ of a product is where it was manufactured, produced or grown. Country of origin labelling is a way to tell shoppers about where a product originates so that consumers can make informed decisions.
The Australian Made logo is a widely known and trusted country of original certification. When you see this logo, you know you can trust the product is authentically Australian. But why does it matter where something was made?
