With Council elections drawing near, after eight years as a Councillor, Dennis Patterson is hanging up his shingle and not contesting the next election. Dennis has been a strong advocate for local rights to water, representing the Council on the Murray Darling Association and has been chair, Region Two of that association.
“I need to stand aside and make way for the younger representatives to take the city forward,” said Dennis.
Dennis will fall back to cruising on his beloved Goulburn River and catch up on some fishing.
