With over 40 years reporting on dregs of Melbourne’s underworld in print and on the radio, as well as co-authoring more than 30 books, and producing documentaries for the ABC, John Silvester can offer an insight into a world many have leered at on page and screen.

John Silvester’s work on the iconic Underbelly series has him set in concrete boots as one of Australia’s best non-fiction writers. His latest book Naked City, is a collection of his best stories, from sophisticated heists to mindless acts of violence and deeds of pure evil that will excite readers of true crime.
