HOP on down to KidsTown over the Easter long weekend for some eggscellent family fun!
Held over four days, starting on Good Friday April 7 through to Easter Monday April 10, from 10am until 2pm, there will be wonderful Easter themed activities for the whole family.
There will be exciting orienteering style scavenger hunt courses, which have been redesigned once again by Start Outdoors, plus Easter egg prizes, daily activities and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny!
$5 entry includes an Easter egg surprise, entry to the scavenger hunt, participation in the daily activity, and entry to the KidsTown playground. The train is still closed from the October flood event but plans to restore the track will hopefully begin in the coming months.
On Good Friday there will be face painting and glitter tattoos. Saturday will see giant bubbles and bouncy balls fill the air. Sunday will be a day for sensory play and craft activities and get up close and personal with native wildlife on the Monday thanks to Bohollow Environmental Education. Dig In Café will be open for coffee, refreshments, hot food, ice cream and lunch including the kid’s menu and healthy options.
Throughout the autumn School Holidays, KidsTown Playground will be open dawn till dusk every day, so if you can’t make it to the Easter weekend festivities, you can still enjoy a great day out.
