THERE’S tonnes of Easter fun to be had at KidsTown these school holidays. From Friday April 15 through to Monday April 18, from 10am until 3pm, there will be wonderful Easter themed activities for the whole family.
There will be exciting orienteering style scavenger hunt courses by Start Outdoors, Easter egg prizes, train rides throughout the day and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny!
Entry is $3 and includes an Easter Egg surprise or $5 with a train ride. A special dance performance will occur on Easter Saturday at 11am.
Other activities being held at KidsTown throughout the holidays include Story Time, Fix Your Bike, Nurture Nature and Rainbow Painting, which are all free events. The KidsTown Community Garden ‘SPROUT’ will be open from 10am – 3 pm during the holiday period as well.
Dig In Café will be open for coffee, refreshments, hot food, ice-creams and lunch, including a kid’s menu and many healthy options, from 10am until 3pm each day. Plus the Train is running 10.30am – 2pm every day for the two weeks!
Throughout the autumn School Holidays, KidsTown Playground will be open dawn till dusk every day, so if you can’t make it to the Easter weekend festivities, you can still enjoy a great day out.
