OVARIAN cancer sadly has a low survival rate, with women in regional areas facing the added challenge of accessing timely treatment after diagnosis.

The Silver Lining Ride raises awareness of, and funding for, the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). Cyclists have embarked on a 1200km ride across Victoria to raise funds for and awareness about this most lethal gynaecological cancer. Last week, the riders made a stop in Shepparton before proceeding to Elmore for a lovely morning tea. To date $175,000 has been raised, but the end amount is estimated to be over $200k.
