Finals loom with one round to play

NAGAMBIE and Waaia have shot to the top of the Cricket Shepparton A-Grade ladder after crushing victories last Saturday.

With a final round to be played this Saturday, the make-up of the top six is not yet set in stone, with the top five separated by only 11 points and sixth-placed Central Park/St Brendans hanging onto their position by just one point.

Playing at home on Saturday, Nagambie made light work of Karramomus, firstly posting a massive 3/220, before putting the visitors to the sword with their first-class bowling attack.
Nathan Fothergill took 3/17 from nine overs, but Karramomous showed fight to hang on to end at 9/92 at the close of their 45 overs.
