When Mel joined GV Health in 2013, she was looking for greater variety after working in a more limited role.
“At GV Health I’ve had the opportunity to work across different programs, build my skills and take part in professional development that’s been really well supported,” Mel said.
“In regional practice you become a true generalist. You never quite know who will walk through the door, and I really enjoy that variety.”
After returning from overseas, Meg chose GV Health for the opportunity to experience regional practice while enjoying a better work-life balance.
“I’ve been able to support people from when they arrive in the Emergency Department through to returning home, which is incredibly rewarding,” Meg said.
“The variety means you’re constantly learning, while the shorter commute and relaxed lifestyle give you more time to spend with family and friends.”
