The 2025 Fire Danger Period will commence at 1am on Monday, November 10, in the following local municipalities:
- Greater Shepperton City Council
- Strathbogie Shire Council
- Moira Shire Council
- Indigo Shire Council – North
- Benalla Rural City Council
- Wangaratta Rural City Council
- Mansfield Shire Council
- Mount Buller and Mount Stirling Alpine Resorts
All Northern Victorian residents are encouraged to use the time leading up to the declared Fire Danger Period to prepare their properties.

Those conducting burn-offs must notify authorities online at www.firepermits.vic.gov.au or by calling 1800 668 511.
