MANSFIELD vs. EUROA
Mansfield is proving the doubters wrong as it currently occupies a place in the GVL top six. The Eagles have been brilliantly coached by Chad Owens this season. They have probably only had the one bad game in their 10 matches in 2021.
This game will be a real arm wrestle and the team that can apply some early scoreboard pressure could help set-up an all-important win.
SEYMOUR vs. MOOROOPNA
Mooroopna starts a tricky three game finish to the home and away season, starting with ladder leader Seymour
Benjamin Cooney, Jack O’Sullivan, Benjamin Rigoni, Nicholas Dundon, Joshua Alford and Seamus Feery will be some of the Lions that will be looking to lead from the front to ensure they protect their good home record.
BENALLA vs. TATURA
Benalla coach Jack Pallpratt knows the importance of this game with his team sitting in seventh place.
Tatura’s Braydon Sutton, Jordan O’Dwyer, Lincoln Wellington, Mitchell Elliott, Tim Wilson and Thomas Sullivan will be doing their best for the home team as they go in search of their third win of the 2021 campaign.
SWANS vs. ROCHESTER
Rocheser coach Steven Stroobants knows the importance of every game and he will be urging his players to grab the opportunity with both hands today, especially given the home and away season is now shorter.
I am thinking that if the Tigers can overcome the challenge of the Swans early on and apply some scoreboard pressure, I think they can win.
KYABRAM vs. UNITED
Kyabram will be looking to consolidate its place in the top six and keep its premiership aspirations well and truly on track.
But in the end, I think the Bombers may have the depth and class to sneak past the Demons despite the best efforts of Kyle Clarke, Brock McLean, Fergus Pinnuck, Shane Neaves, Adam Fichera and Mitchell Cleeland.
ECHUCA vs. SHEPPARTON
Shepparton will look to put its recent good form to the test again when it travels to Echuca.
Mitchell Kemp, Kane Morris, Andrew Walker, Cameron Valentine, Ben Reid and Logan Prout have been leading the way for the Murray Bombers and if they can fire then they should sneak past the visitors.
