RESIDENTS and families are encouraged to get out of their house and get moving by coming along to some of the exciting events being delivered across Greater Shepparton these school holidays.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Activities in the Park summer program is in full swing, with free and low-cost activities for all ages and abilities on every day until Saturday, January 21.
Monday saw dozens of families gather at Mactier Gardens, Tatura, for a face painting and glitter tattoo workshop organised by Enchanted Rainbow Entertainment.
All activities are designed to get people out and active in the community. Activities are all provided free-of-charge, with the exception of the Aquamoves Pool Party, where the only cost is the pool entry free.
Sessions are delivered by local facilitators including sports clubs, local businesses, community groups, and state sporting associations.
Move your body, get outside and learn in nature, and have fun with your family and friends by participating in a Rock and Roll Dance at Victoria Park Lake, Turtle Talk in Tatura, or Mindful Meditation for kids in the Queens Gardens, and so much more!
