CONSTRUCTION on the new Maude Street campus for Shepparton ACE Secondary College is well underway, with an expected bump-in date in April next year.

The school, which offers mainstream education and pathways to further study in a safe, caring and inspiring environment, provides tuition to about 120 students.

Established 15 years ago to meet a community need to re-engage young people who had fallen out of their education and wanted to return to study years 11 and 12, Shepparton ACE Secondary College now has students from years 7-12, as well as further education.

“The latest part of this remarkable journey is the development of a purpose-built school on the college’s new Maude Street site,” Shepparton ACE Secondary College principal Bronwyn Rose said.

“This development is made possible through a Victorian State Government grant and support from the Greater Shepparton City Council. The college expects to move in by April 2021 and the speed with which it is going up at present is very impressive.”
