The government can’t control the overall cost of petrol but at least they’re now cutting the bit they’re responsible for. With skyrocketing cost of living over the past few years, it’s about time a government did something that will directly save us money every week. Saving 22 cents a litre when filling up your car is nothing to sneeze at when plenty of people I speak to have been struggling to afford to keep their car running. Saving hundreds of dollars over the six months of this fuel tax cut will make a real difference to many in our area.
