TATURA V SHEPPARTON
Shepparton will be out to make two wins on the bounce when it travels across to Tatura. The home team is winless after losses to Rochester, Kyabram and Benalla. And, it doesn’t get any easier today against the Bears. Tip: Shepparton.
SHEPPARTON UNITED V ROCHESTER
Shepparton United will be looking to continue their good start to 2022 when it welcomes the improved Rochester. Goal Attack Georgia Walpole and fellow shooter Jessie Barnes were important in the thrilling win over Mooroopna last weekend. Some of the team’s other younger members like Laura Cole stood tall in what was a high intensity contest. Tip: Shepparton United.
SEYMOUR V MOOROOPNA
Seymour and Mooroopna will be looking to bounce back after both lost last weekend. The Cats were pipped by the Demons in a highly entertaining clash while the Lions were upset by Euroa. Maddison Wong had a fantastic dual last weekend with Jessie Barnes and she will again be important in trying to keep the Lion goalers at bay. Seymour coach, Ellie O’Sullivan, will be hoping her girls can bounce back after a shock loss to Euroa last weekend. She knows it won’t be easy against a well-balanced Mooroopna team who are well drilled. Tip: Mooroopna.
SHEPPARTON SWANS V EUROA
Shepparton Swans will be searching for its first win of the season when it welcomes Euroa today. The Swans are a work in progress under Courtney Simpson. She has already blooded a number of the club’s young talent which will set them up for the future. Today, Shinea Sali, Hannah Garner, youngster Emelia Mercuri will be looking to try lead the team to their first win. Kellie Davidson, Karly Wappett and Tylah Marchbank were outstanding in the win against Seymour. The trio will be crucial in trying to help the team to back-to-back wins. Tip: Euroa.
BENALLA V KYABRAM
This should be a fantastic game between two teams that are evenly matched and on the rise. Kyabram has had a win, draw and loss in its opening three games of 2022, while Benalla has won its past two games. The Bombers are a vastly improved outfit under the guidance of Sara Kent. They will be keen to curb the influence of Benalla shooter Sally Washfold while Chloe Hill will be vital if the Saints are to get another win. Tip: Kyabram.
ECHUCA V MANSFIELD
Echuca will look to remain undefeated when it welcomes the winless Mansfield today. Coach Steph Vick hopes to welcome back a few regulars who missed last week’s character-building win over Kyabram. That said, Georgie Eishold stepped up from B-grade and may have done enough to retain her spot in the line-up. While, the Eagles will be desperate to stay in the game for longer periods than they have done to date. Tip: Echuca.
