Where are you from, and how did you find your way to Shepparton?
I am originally from Healesville, Victoria. I moved with my parents and older sister to the Goulburn Valley when I was four years old.
What do you do here?
I work, live and enjoy Shepparton and I am employed by the GV Hotel.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my job at the GV Hotel is interacting with customers. I also enjoy time spent with other staff members, growing my skill set and undertaking the variety of tasks the GV Hotel has to offer.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy socialising with friends and family. Family is extremely important to me and we all enjoy regularly getting together when COVID-19 restrictions permit.
In my spare time I enjoy riding my scooter at the Shepparton skate park. It is a passion I have enjoyed since my early teens.
What’s your favourite thing about Shepparton?
Our relaxed lifestyle, friendly multicultural demographics and wide-open spaces only five minutes from the CBD. Shepparton has everything I need contained within a dynamic city.
What’s one thing you would change about Shepparton to improve it?
Improve the footpaths in and around Shepparton. Lack of maintenance has rendered surfaces uneven and large holes make navigating the town by foot dangerous.
