SINCE 1986, not-for-profit Disability Employment Services and DES provider, The Personnel Group has helped thousands of people with a disability, injury or health condition prepare for, find and keep a job.

Our 35-year success is largely because of the dedicated on-on-one commitment from The Personnel Group’s employment consultants.

They work with and guide participants across a range of life skills, from getting a driver’s licence and industry recognised qualifications to managing personnel finances and mastering interviews.

“We work with our candidates so they know what’s expected as an employee and what employers are looking for when they’re hiring. Our aim is to not only get them into employment, we try to match them to jobs where they’ll stay long term,” The Personnel

Group area manager Mark Rourke said.

“It’s all about giving jobseekers the skills and confidence to get out there and have a go.”
Because The Personnel Group is regionally-based with full-time or part-time offices in Shepparton, Mooroopna, Echuca, Kyabram, Mathoura, Deniliquin, Cobram and Barham, our staff know what local employers are looking for and which ones would be the right fit for you.

Staff take the time to learn what each individual participant’s interests are, find where weaknesses are and then work to plug those gaps through education and advice and training to make sure potential job candidates are the right fit for positions they apply for.

“The jobs market is evolving and jobseekers need to evolve with it to give themselves the best chance of standing out from the crowd,” area manager Mark Rourke said.

Increasing the skill level and employability of locals is integral to the success and prosperity of our regional and rural communities.

“There’s a reason employers have trusted The Personnel Group to match candidates to vacancies for 35 years, we’re all about the right fit. We help local employers find staff who are right for the role and right for their business,” employment consultant Shelby Marrone said.

“The Personnel Group is a relationship business, and our success or failure can be directly attributed to the quality of our relationships. We want our participants to succeed.”

If your goal is to find a long-term job and earn your own money, The Personnel Group may be able to help make it happen.
